He was a member of the Century Club, the Cristoforo Colombo Society and various Bocce leagues. He was a Buffalo Sabres fan and also enjoyed watching the Toronto Maple Leafs lose to any team. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking and wine making. His strong work ethic kept him working to the age of 76, when, after some persuasion, decided to retire.įrank was known to have a unique sense of humor which will always be remembered by his family and friends. As a Master Cabinet Maker, Frank helped transform the company focus to custom cabinetry which included store fixtures for Saks Fifth Avenue stores throughout the US and custom residential cabinetry for some of the area's finest homes. Working as a carpenter and cabinet maker for Forgione Lumber Co., Booth & Strong Lumber Co. On June 9th, 1956 he married Costanza (Sicoli) Viola in Italy and returned to settle in Niagara Falls, NY. He came to America at the age of 17 in pursuit of the American dream. He was the son of the late Antonio and Serafina (Valentino) Viola. Frank was born in Amantea, Cosenza, Italy, on August 21, 1932. Francesco Viola, of the Town of Niagara, NY, entered into rest on Januat Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, NY.
